Our community’s health is important to us. In light of the recent COVID-19 developments locally, nationally, and worldwide AMASV has decided that it is best to postpone our in-person meetings/events through at least early April. Our April board meeting will be virtual-only. We will be monitoring developments closely and will follow our local recommendations for future events. We will be looking into virtual events as an alternative if social distancing is necessary beyond early April.
We encourage our volunteers, members, and general community to practice social distancing, frequent handwashing, and proper illness etiquette to help slow the spread of the virus (e.g. avoiding handshakes, covering your cough, staying home if feeling ill, working remotely if able). The CDC website is an informative resource for current developments and advice for managing both personal and office environments during this time. Additional local resources can be found via the following county websites:
We are proud to be a part of the Sacramento community and have been happy to see our community supporting one another in these uncertain times.
